After 18 years of marriage and 20 years with their respective employers, life was good for Woody and Angie Rhodes. Then COVID-19 hit and life as they knew it was changed forever. Angie was furloughed from her employer and Woody was very dissatisfied with the way his employer handled things during the pandemic.
They had both worked at restaurants years ago with the dreams of one day owning their own. The stars aligned and they were able to purchase Vero’s Pizzeria in Smithfield from Jimmy and Liz Venero. With their direct supervision, tasty recipes and a highly trained staff, Woody and Angie are able to carry on the tradition of Vero’s Pizzeria.
We would love to thank our loyal customers who stuck with us during the transition and welcome new customers with open arms!
